Iwan James is a newcomer to singing and came along to our first practice of the year just to see how he felt about it. Fortunately he found it a very enjoyable experience and was quickly snatched up by the Baritones and is making progress.

Roger Broomhead has moved to the area from Bristol where he was in a mixed choir. He  proves to have an excellent bass voice and seems nicely settled in to our ranks.
This is a great start to the year; we hope more will follow.

Mike Bradshaw.  On a less happy note we are very sorry to lose Mike Bradshaw from the Bass section. Mike joined us approximately 2 years ago; at that time, he had a future planned around his family which involved moving away. Sadly, that time has come and Mike has left Alfreton for a world down south. Mike will be greatly missed both as a colleague and a friend. We wish him well for the future..
