Christmas at the Co-op.

Saturday 9th December saw the choir at one of our favourite Christmas events. The store was busy and the choir sang a variety of traditional carols, but also some of our own harmonious pieces including How Great Thou Art, You Raise Me Up, Mulligans Musketeers and The Kings Highway. These songs seemed to be appreciated by the shoppers and the collection undertaken by Pat and Mike Churnside on behalf of The British Heart Foundation raised a fantastic total of £299.53. A very enjoyable and rewarding couple of hours work.
