Remembrance Celebration at the Pavilion, Matlock Bath

Hello again everyone,

I know you’ve heard it on a regular basis from me but here I go again.
We are on countdown to the Second Annual Festival of Remembrance at the Grand Pavillion Matlock Bath. The date for your diary is Wednesday 5th November 2025.
Tickets priced £8.00 are available via the QRCode (with a small admin cost) and from members of the Matlock and Darley Dale branch of the Royal British Legion, the Pavillion Box Office and at the door on the night. We are limited to capacity so purchase beforehand is advisable.
Some exciting news to relate as well – we now have another surprise performer on the night! I said last week our surprise guest was NOT Taylor Swift and the new one is NOT Elton John!!!!
Only way to find out is to buy a ticket!!!!!
Don’t forget that this event will not only showcase representatives of military cadet units and Standards from across the Matlock area but Alfreton Male Voices will also play a part alongside other musical presentations.
Doors open 6.30pm for a 7.15 pm start or –
(for our Veterans and Service-connected patrons) – Doors open 18.30 for a 19.15 start.

Hi everyone

Well here we go again

Thanks to the success of the inaugural Festival of Remembrance held at the Grand Pavilion Matlock Bath last year, on behalf of the Organising Committee, I am pleased to announce the Second Festival will be held on November 5th 2025 starting at 7.15pm.

Our Honoured Guest this year is the Lord Lieutenant for Derbyshire Mrs Elizabeth Fothergill CBE along with local Civic Dignitaries and representatives of local community organisations.

We are expecting a full house this year so the sooner you get your tickets the less chance of disappointment.

If you are wondering what to expect at the event – think Royal Albert Hall but on a smaller scale .

Our cast is drawn from local musical and community organisations together with representatives of military cadet units and Standards from across the Matlock area

We have had marvellous sponsorship support from local businesses and when the list is complete I will let you know who they are.

The restoration project to return our iconic Grand Pavilion to its former glory is ongoing and your support – in any form- is greatly appreciated

The evening starts at 7.15pm and will finish approximately 9.45pm

Tickets from today are available priced £8.00 (plus 62p booking charge via the QR Code ) and from the Box office at the Grand Pavilion.

Other sources of tickets will be announced very shortly.

As I said late last year – quoting General McCarthur- we’ll be back – and WE ARE!!!!!!
