Jacqueline Mullarkey

The choir was invited to attend the funeral of Jacqui Mullarkey which took place today, 24th April at Christ the King Church, Alfreton. Mass was led by Father James Earley  and a packed church was able to celebrate the life of Jacqui who, as wife of our own Mick Mullarkey, had been a choir supporter for many years. After the Final Commendation the choir sang their very moving interpretation of ‘Let It Be Me’ then underscored the exit music ‘Going Home’ as Jacqui left the church. No dry eyes in the house; a truly moving expression of love for a wonderful family.
