Having perused the CHOIR page and surmounted any reservations you may have had, it’s time to give it a try. Turning up on Thursday to be confronted by a bunch of people is sure to be a difficult step; it may help to contact someone in advance to allow us to ready ourselves for your arrival. Contact Ken on 01773 306155 or Dave on 07985 081401. (Though not essential).
You will be introduced to the Musical Director who will assess the level of help required and allocate which section you will join. Meet Tony, our Librarian, to be issued with a music pack and be introduced to your section’s mentor to be settled in.
This is where the fun begins:
Listen to the pieces we are currently practicing and feel the emotions and excitement of becoming a part of it. 
Enjoy the atmosphere of the practice room and relish the challenges ahead.
Having enjoyed your first singing venture it’s time, if you are so inclined, to retire to the bar for some well-deserved lubrication and, perhaps, some discussion. 
It cannot be stressed enough the benefits of learning music, singing, performing and generally developing and increasing your confidence. You will meet new people, visit interesting places and raise money for worthy causes.
Then, after 3 months, it will be time to officially join.
